The Protocol Team perfected hospitality, Ushers greeted with warm smiles, and the Registration Team set every participant’s journey off to a smooth start. Meanwhile, the Security Team safeguarded the day so that voices could rise without worry.

Together, they turned vision into reality  and made history at Blackstone.

Blackstone proudly hosted Pakistan’s first-ever National Mock Trial Competition, redefining the student courtroom experience.

Unlike traditional moot courts that simulate appeals, this trial competition recreated real-world courtroom proceedings—witnesses, cross-examinations, objections, and rulings. A huge congratulations to the winning team: Legal Eagles, for setting a national benchmark with their exceptional advocacy skills!

The University of London has announced major changes to assessment for all Level 4 (LLB First Year) modules, effective from the November 2025 session onwards. These changes do not apply to students appearing in the October 2025 session.

What’s Changing?

• Assessments will now include two components:

• Multiple Choice Assessment (25%)

  1. 25 compulsory questions

     1. Based on Topics 2–6 of the online module content

     2. Held in advance of the written exam (February & September)

  2. Written Examination (75%)

  3. 2 hours 30 minutes

     1. Covers 100% of the module content

     2. Will take place in April–June or October exam periods

More details will be shared soon. Students are encouraged to start preparing with this structure in mind.

The University of London has released updates to its academic regulations for the next session (2025-26):

• Module registration now lasts one full year, regardless of whether you register by 1 November or 1 May

• Each module registration includes two examination attempts

• Students can now take all exams in either April–June or October, or split them across both sessions

• The maximum period of registration for CertHE has been reduced from five years to three.

Due to recent Pakistan-India tensions, the University of London (UoL) has made a temporary change for the exam “International Protection of Human Rights” scheduled for Tuesday, 13 May.

IPHR Students have been informed via email that the exam will now be conducted online from home using the Inspera Integrity Browser (IIB).

However, as the situation is improving, UoL may revert the exam to the British Council exam centre.
 This is not confirmed yet — students are strongly advised to keep checking their UoL email for any last-minute updates.

However if the exam will be online at home you need to download the Inspera Integrity Browser from the Student Portal (Assessments Page).

If your exam is confirmed to be held online via Inspera, here’s what you need to do:

Download the Inspera Integrity Browser (IIB) from your Student Portal
Complete the system check in advance
Practice using a sample test
Be ready with original photo ID on exam day
Sit in a quiet, well-lit space free of disturbance
Click "Submit" only when you’ve reviewed everything.

All other exams remain unchanged.
Students sitting any other exam must strictly follow the venue details provided by the British Council, even if there’s a date or venue difference with the UoL admission notice.

Do not assume your exam has moved unless officially informed by UoL.

Starting Tuesday, 13 May, we are launching Special Assistance Classes for all LLB1 (125 Batch) students who joined mid-way through the term.

These classes are designed to recap key topics and ensure that no one is left behind.
