
Dawood Ahmed, Edward Marshall Solicitors and Legal Consultants in the UK
Dawood Ahmed is a Bar Transfer Course student at the Blackstone School of Law, and soon to be a future Barrister and a member of the Lincoln’s Inn. He started his law career at the University of London. Soon after graduating, he joined the prestigious law firm of Edward Marshall Solicitors and Legal Consultants in the United Kingdom, and later shifted back to Pakistan where he has experience in a wide range of matters ranging from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Excise and Tax Department, Tax Tribunals, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He is now pursuing the prestigious BTC programme from our institute and we hope that he will be a great investment in the legal profession.

Syed Sajjad Haider Rizvi, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan (ASC)
Sajjad Haider is a Bar Transfer Course (BTC) Student at Blackstone School of Law, Batch #7 and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Mr. Rizvi before joining Rizvi and Company has worked for 1 year with A.F. Ferguson, a member of Price Water House Coopers in 2004 as a Supervising Senior in the Tax Wing. During his stay at the firm he was part of the project financed by the Asian Development Bank (www.adb.org) to work with the Punjab Government (www.punjab.gov.pk) to reconstruct its finances called the “Punjab Finance Reconstruction ''.
He did his Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Lahore School of Economics in 1999 - 2001. He joined the University of Punjab in 1998 and completed his LL.B in 2001. He also did C.A. Foundation Part-I, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan in 1997.

Aftab Ayub, Partner and the Head of Litigation at ANR & Co
Aftab Ayub is a Bar Transfer Course (BTC) student at the Blackstone School of Law. He enrolled as an Advocate of the Lower Courts at Karachi in 2017, followed by enrollment in the High Court of Sindh in 2019. After completing his LL.B degree, he began his career in law under the guidance of Abdul Haleem Siddiqui (ASC) at Haleem and Khan, Barristers and Associates. Being a visionary and providing top of the line expertise and advice to his clientele. Aftab is a Partner and the Head of Litigation at ANR & Co Advocate and Legal Consultant, where he has represented high-value corporate clients such as K-Electric and Power Cement Limited. Aftab Ayub is a fine addition to our fraternity and the institute’s community.

Imtiaz Ali, Magistrate
Imtiaz Ali is a Bar Transfer Course (BTC) student at the Blackstone School of Law, Batch #4. He graduated in law in 2014 from S.M Law College, University of Karachi. He appeared in the Law GAT-II exam held in May 2015 and secured the highest marks among all the candidates who appeared in the test from all over Pakistan. He obtained the second position in the examination of LL.M conducted by the University of Karachi in 2016. He has also done a Master of Arts in Muslim History (First Class).
He passed the Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate exam in 2016 and secured 5th position out of 149 qualified judges. Throughout the three months Pre-Service Training & Evaluation Program (Batch-62) at Sindh Judicial Academy, he secured Grade-A. During his service tenure, he has been rewarded with 13 certificates and two awards of appreciation by the Honourable District and Sessions Judges. He has also disposed of thousands of cases. He has been studying for the LL.D (Legum Doctor) at the University of Karachi since 2020. Presently, he works as Research Officer BPS-18 in the 'Legal Research Cell' of the High Court of Sindh Karachi. He has also written a number of articles on Human Rights, Strikes of Advocates and Consumer Law.

Advocate Muhammad Rana Jamshed
Muhammad Rana Jamshed is a Bar Transfer Course student at the Blackstone School of Law. He began his law career at the University of Punjab and later went on to complete his Master in English Literature and the Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Lahore. He is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Sargodha since 2017, where he teaches LL.B and English and specializes in Criminal Litigation. Among his other experiences include being a Senior Associate at Qazi and Qazi Law Office and being the District Secretary of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). We are proud to have such excellent students as an integral part of our Blackstone family.
